Jesse Oberin

Recording Mixing Mastering

Email enquiries: studio@jesseoberin.com

Jesse Oberin is a mixing and mastering engineer and music producer based in Melbourne, Australia.

Jesse helps artists and creators bridge the gap between a raw recording and a professional, release-ready track. His approach is simple: remove the technical barriers, protect the performance, and let the song speak.

More than a technical engineer, Jesse works as a creative partner, helping artists make confident decisions while protecting the performance at the heart of the song. Mixing and mastering sit at the centre of his work, with recording, audio restoration, and post-production for screen also available. Guided by a curiosity about how sound shapes emotion, he brings formal training in music production and over a decade of hands-on recording and session management to every project. With a full-picture view of the audio lifecycle from capture through to final delivery, he catches issues early and keeps every edit and mix decision in service of the track’s emotional core.

Working from a treated hybrid studio designed for critical listening, Jesse blends digital tools for surgical precision with boutique analogue hardware for texture and depth. Whether he’s mixing a record, mastering for vinyl, or cleaning up dialogue for screen and podcasts, the goal is always the same: to deliver audio that translates across playback systems, without losing its human touch.
